National Statistics Online - Census 2001. The Office for National Statistics is responsible for producing a wide range of economic and social statistics. It also registers life events and holds the decennial census of the population.

Australian Collaboration - Social statistics (poverty, health, education) is a collaboration of peak national community organisations representing social, cultural and environmental constituencies and interests. The main activities of the Collaboration are to act as a forum for the exchange of ideas and information between its member bodies and to carry out research projects and publish books and reports on key issues.
FaCSIA - 2004 Australian Government Census of Child Care Services. The Australian Government Census of Child Care Services has been conducted regularly since 1986. The information provided in the Census is the most comprehensive data available on Australian Government approved and funded child care. Externally the data is made available to State and local governments, peak child care organisations and for research into child care.
